Webcomic Secret Santa 2011

Since yesterday was the 17th, it was time to send off my gift comic to Robert Cook who does The Mansion of E. Since his comic has mostly creature characters, it was a bit of a challenge to figure out what I was going to do. I think the end result came out rather well and I totally enjoyed doing it. So, please check it out and visit Robert’s webcomic!

A Teddy Bear Tale

When my friend Dan started spreading the word about a special project he was involved with, I quickly jumped in to support it. Little did I know that this project was as special and sweet as A Teddy Bear Tale. I’m quite glad that I put forth the money to give this book a helping hand.

A Teddy Bear Tale is a children’s book that tells the story of one stuffed up animal’s last night protecting his owner. The author, Nick Davis, did a superb job at reminding his readers that you are never too old to thank those special toys that watched over us during our youth. Dan Nokes did an amazing job with the illustrations and gave just the right visuals to spark ones imagination into action.

While this is a children’s book, anyone would benefit from reading it. You are never too old to imagine. You are never to old to play. You are never too old to believe.

The Royal Lancers

My father and his brothers were all musicians and they played in various bands over the decades. While searching through my parents basement, I came across a ton of reels that contains many voices from the past including my Dad’s old band, The Royal Lancers. As a Christmas present to him and my mother, I’m convert a bunch of stuff off these reals to digital so that they can listen to these past voices. The song below is just the a sample of what I found.
