I was introduced to Friendz.net about a year ago after the guys at Propellerhead Software posted a video that one of their users created using Reason. Not only was the music quite good but the way they crafted their songs seemed very organic. When listening to the music they produced, you really felt that what was captured by the computer was a moment in time. So, when I heard that J Rabbit from Friendz.net was putting our their first album, I knew that I would purchase it despite the cost of shipping being more than the CD itself since it would come from Korea.

Prior to receiving this album, my exposure to J Rabbit had been through the videos that Friendz.net posted on Youtube. I definitely recommend checking them out! Not only is the music great but the video production is quite fun to watch as well. It’s nice to see a group of indy musicians put out such quality material.

J Rabbit’s album, It’s Spring, is full of the same quality music that you’ll find in their videos. It’s fun, quirky and beautiful. Style wise, the songs can range from folksy to pop. A good part of the album is in English but there are also a handful of songs in Korean. Whatever the language may be, good music is good music. I’m proud to be able to reach out across the big pond and support such talented musicians!
