Assignment- Woodwind Solo by theshaggyfreak
The little piece above was my assignment for this week and this time we have a woodwind in the mix. We were given a melody line where we had to give it to a woodwind instrument and accompany it with strings. Again, I’m still getting the hang of humanizing orchestral stuff but I think that I’m progressing nicely.
Since I had a busy schedule last week with Katsucon, I only did the required part of the week 6 assignment which consisted of just the sheet music. I’ve uploaded what I did to the website and you can download it if you wish to check it out. Here we were given a melody and had to orchestrate it with both strings and brass. If I get some extra time this week, I’ll work on turning it into music.

So, I don’t have much else to report since Katsucon took up quite a bit of my time during this past weekend. I have quite a bit on my agenda for this week, though, and I’m hoping to accomplish as much as I can. I guess we’ll see how it goes when I post next weeks report!
