Even though I’m rendering about 12-16 panels a week for the comic, I still feel that I need more practice composing scenes. I realize that when it comes to lighting and color, I don’t really have a lot of education on what works well together. I think I need to find a book on that sort of thing since I keep getting the feeling that this may be one of those things that I’m just not going to figure out on my own.

Anyway, here’s the piece I put together today. The robot at the end of the hall is kind of difficult to make out since it really has a complex color make up. I’m not sure if that’s my fault or the fault of the person that designed that figure. Maybe it’s just one of those things that looks better as a close up.

I did work on some other pieces early this week as well.  The first is a button design that I will start selling at Baltimore Comic Con in a few weeks. Kate came up with the idea for this one and I think I did a pretty decent job putting it all together.

The last piece is something I came up with while working on yesterdays comic.  It’s my silly attempt at doing a BS/OD propaganda type poster.  I suppose it came out alright.
