Since yesterday was National Lighthouse Day, Kate and I decided to take a trip to Southern Maryland to see a couple of the lighthouses that they had there since it was a rather nice day for such a journey. It takes about two hours for us to drive to Calvert, Maryland and that’s not too bad despite my dislike of long car rides.
We decided not to partake of marine museum since it wasn’t free but checking out the lighthouses didn’t cost anything. I ended up with a handful of decent pictures while we were there and you can check them out below. All in all, it was nice to get out of the house and see something different.
