Yesterday I got to attend the wedding for one of Kate’s childhood friends. Despite it being a tad bit warm out, it was a good wedding and I was thankful to have witnessed it. I even managed to make it through several hours of wearing a suit without completely melting.
I’ll probably post more photos from the trip once I’m home and I can sift through them on the larger iMac in my studio. It’s kind of hard to edit photos on a tiny little netbook. I’ll have some better pictures to post of the giant windmill farm as well as some shorts of a pair of cute sugar gliders.
Today is our last full day here in Illinois and we’ll be heading back home tomorrow morning. I expect today to be a leisure one but we might do a little bit of shopping. I might even sit down and see how much of Super Mario World 2 I can get through. A crying baby Mario makes me want to throw the controller at the screen, though.
Oh! Here’s a shot of Kate and I. Kate, who looks lovely as always, is wearing a lovely dress that her sister finished sewing the night before the wedding. As for me, I’m in my one and only suit that I probably will wear one or two times a year. I’m not exactly the type of guy who likes to dress up a lot.
