So, it seems I have some new side projects that I’ll be working on now and in the sort of distant future. It’s sometimes nice to get involved in some other things besides my own projects to help break things up a bit. Usually these sorts of things don’t pop very often for me but I had a few different things land in my lap this past week.
The first of these projects is somewhat super secret. It does involve putting together a couple pages of a comic but it’s not something related to the BS/OD story. If all goes well, I’ll be able to show off what I’m doing by the end of the month.
The second project has to deal with music. As I’ve started getting a little more involved in the amateur voice acting world, some folks have shown interest in me doing some music for some radio plays. After conversing with a couple people via e-mail, I’ve been asked to do some work for Misfits Audio and their upcoming Halloween show. Writing creepy music is rather fun!
The third project is something that won’t actually be happening for a while but it’s something I’m looking forward to in quite a bit. A few years ago, I got involved with the Reston Community Players doing sound design for some of their shows. This time around, I’ll be working a show called, “Moonlight and Magnolias”. I ended up taking a year off from doing plays this past season and I this looks like a great show to jump back in on. Unfortunately, it isn’t until Spring of 2011.
Oh! There will not be a comic this coming Friday or the following Monday since I’ll be out of town. I will be updating the website with various things while I’m gone, though. So, check back every day to see what’s new.
