Several weeks ago, I posted the cover art for a mini comic that I’ll be doing entitled ‘Robots Need Love Too!’. The above screen shot is a little taste of what things will look like and you get to see a little preview of what it’s all about. I’ll be printing this comic out in black and white so that I can hand them out as a freebie at conventions. I’m sure I’ll post the color version on my website at some point as well.
To tell you the truth, I’m really enjoying this little side project. It’s kind of nice to be able to break away from the big story of BS/OD and do something a bit more simple. I’m kind of playing with the idea of starting a weekly sort of gag comic that I’d do on the weekends and this might work out for that. I’m not entirely committed to the idea of adding something else to my schedule but simple scenes like this aren’t very hard to do once it’s all set up.
Speaking of conventions, I’ve updated my schedule under the events section so that you can come visit us. While Kate and I are only planning on going to local events in 2010, we plan on making one or two road trips in 2011. Right now we’re looking into doing Anime Central and possible one other convention. Just keep an eye on the events page for updates!
