The Dreamscapes Project is a band that I first met nearly ten years ago after a friend of mine told me about them. Since then, we’ve become friends and I’ve been involved with them here and there over the past decade. In 2005, I spent several weeks helping them record their album ‘The Are No Safe Words’ and that turned out to be quite an adventure. A couple weeks ago, I was more than happy to lend them my voice on their new song, ‘Hymm‘.

Basically, Keith Center (vocals) put out the word that the band needed a few people to participate in a song for their 12 Days Project. The 12 Days Project is a multimedia journey that the band is taking over 2010. Each month they will be releasing a new song coupled with work done by other musicians, artists, film makers, etc. It’s turning out to be a great idea that’s producing amazing results!

So, you should definitely go check it out. Each time a new song is released, it’s free to download for twelve days. That means ‘Hymm’ is free for you to grab…right now! After all, I fully believe in supporting my favorite local artists.

The picture below was taken with my iPhone while in the studio. I really enjoyed being a part of this song and I hope that I can work with The Dreamscapes Project again in the future. Thanks guys!
