I’ve been kind of a slump during the past couple years as far as writing music goes. I suppose that some of that has been due me being so busy working on the comic. I have tried to get my creative juices flowing again but I really haven’t felt successful until recently.
About a month ago, I started hanging out on the Overclocked Remix forums and IRC chat. After a couple weeks, I decided to get involved in my first remix project and it’s been quite good for me. I’m starting to feel that those juices flowing again and I’m hoping that I’ll start producing things on a more regular basis.
The one nice thing about most of the people at Overclocked Remix is that they’re a pretty diverse group. With most online communities, I usually feel a bit uncomfortable since people usually latch on to one aspect which becomes their entire life. I’m glad that is not the case this time.
