Okay, Hondo has issues. More issues than any robot should have, really. I mean, he has had a rough life. Will he finally grow a set and stand up for himself? Who knows. Keep tuning in to find out!

The lighting effect in this comic took me a while to get a handle on. I’m still getting used to all of the deep stuff you can do with with lights in Carrara. In the real world, lighting is fairly straight forward in it’s use. In the 3D world, it’s fairly complex but you can pull off some really nifty things with it. I admit, that I decided to do a page like this so that I could play around with it a bit more. With most comics, I tend to use a fairly simple lighting so that I don’t spend hours on getting things right. If I did that all the time, I would never get three comics done per week. Still, I am trying to constantly better my art so that I can make BS/OD look better. While I think I have a lot to learn, I feel that I have managed to learn a thing or two over the past couple years.
